Location
RHS Horticultural Halls (Meeting point outside Lindley Hall entrance)
As part of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) London Urban Garden Show, why not take a break from the show and step outside to discover the Urban Trees of SW1? You’ll be amazed by the many fascinating and rare trees which can be found on the streets within a few hundred metres of the RHS exhibition halls. Join Paul Wood, author of ‘London’s Street Trees’, to take a closer look and learn about the rich diversity and cultural heritage of trees in our cities. Participants will be provided with a learning journal for them to record and document what they discover along the way.
‘London’s Street Trees’ by Paul Wood was given rave reviews by ‘The Garden’ magazine this year: ‘a joy for gardeners and plantaholics everywhere’ and ‘a fashionably populist guide to special trees that is brave enough to assume the reader’s interest and, consequently provide a thoroughly fitting tribute’. The book will be available to buy on the day.
