A soundwalk and workshop inspired by ancient Chinese sound praxis. Starting on the border between densely populated industrial district of Nowa Huta and the Nowa Huta Meadows ecological park, the walk will be an introduction to Rafal Mazur’s concept of ‘indiscriminatory listening’ (as opposed to ‘musical listening’). The participants will learn how to immerse in sound and practice audial meditation. The event will end with Mazur’s performance in the Nowa Huta Meadows.
Dr Rafal Mazur is a philosopher (Jagiellonian University, Krakow) and improvising musician.
