Opening a new season of Urban Forest Explorations.

We are delighted to welcome back Paul Wood, author of ‘London Street Trees‘ (Guardian Nature Books  of 2017) to entice you to Explore the Urban Forest Haverstock Hill

Take a closer look at the remarkable diversity of kerbside trees to be found in in the vicinity of Haverstock Hill. We can expect to see at least a dozen different tree species from elegant Birches to grand London Plane trees. We finish at one of London’s most charming tree-named pub. Please note we will be taking in some fairly steep hills!

We have had a remarkable summer, with some of London’s hottest temperatures – how have our street trees fared? Are the autumn colours set to appear earlier this year? Find out the answers from street tree guru Paul on this lovely walk, that will include one of the most famous views of London.
