Part of National Park City Week – these walkshops led by Mel Sutton  will explore ways to a mindful approach in our day to day living. The spaces have been chosen as they reflect a calm within the urban city. Being amongst trees and nature helps us to feel calm and grounded.

Mel Sutton – Yoga & Mindfulness teacher

Trees impact on our senses, they calm and reduce stress and cleanse the environment from pollution.

They are the perfect environment to practice mindfulness and to take time to replenish mind, body and spirit. Finding peace and calm within, whilst living with all the noises and distraction of the outside is one of the greatest challenges of 21st century living. Insightful and provoking these simple taster sessions are open to all from the more experienced to the beginner.

The uniqueness of place will reflect how we respond emotionally and physically, and how we feel in the moment will impact on our experience. As we look at our mind and the mental chatter we experience how mindfulness opens us to a new world and way of being present and in charge of our lives.

Please wear comfortable footwear and bring  a bottle of water if it’s hot. We also recommend bringing minimal bags so you can enjoy this event without carrying too much!
