Part of the first ever Urban Tree Festival, we are delighted to welcome yoga and mindfulness teacher Mel Sutton to lead a walkshop on Visualisation, Mindfulness and Movement.

We are crowdfunding to raise money to keep ticket prices low for events during the Urban Tree Festival – our crowdfunding campaign runs until the 1 May – and you can secure a ticket for this event by pledging £10 to our crowdfunder campaign.  This not only secures you a ticket but also brings in a further £10 as Trees for Cities are match funding every pledge until we meet our target of £1,500.

On this walk we will starting in Red Cross Garden and then walk to nearby Mint Street Park, both pretty gardens managed by Bankside Open Spaces Trust

Surrounded by nature we have chosen this peaceful garden to explore different ways you can experience mindfulness.

This interactive event will make this a fun and expressive morning as we try out different ways to be mindful.

Explore gentle yoga breath and movement, visualisation and ways to focus the mind in different ways. This event will give you a toolbox of mindful techniques as you develop your own practice.

Being outdoors and connecting with nature is a wonderful and nurturing way to develop mindfulness and experience a deeper connection to our surroundings.

This event is for adults onlhy. This walk is suitable for all levels whether you already practice mindfulness and yoga as part of your daily routine or you are a beginner.
